years, EGD Lopez and Partners participated in several
multi-disciplinary high impact project planning and
strategic studies for the government and the private sector
as project manager, architect, master planner or physical
planner. These were undertaken either solely by the
partnership, individual partners or in collaboration or
association with other foreign or local professionals or
consulting firms. Some of these firms included Halcrow Fox &
Associates, Freeman Fox & Associates, Philkoei International
(PKII), SKR Managers & Advisors, COWIConsult of Denmark,
UPConsult, Economic Development Foundation, Urban Integrated
Consultants, Inc., Nippon Koi Co., Ltd, Nidden Sekki

Tourism
Studies
Tourism-related studies included the Tourism Master Plan
for Region V and X for the Department of Tourism,
Conceptual Master Plan for an Eco-Tourism Project at the
Magat Forest Reserve for the Province of Nueva Vizcaya
funded by USAID, Conceptual Eco-Tourism Planning/Training
for Bohol, Butuan and Cagayan de Oro funded by USAID/ARD-GOLD,
and the Tourism Master Plan of selected sites in Cagayan
Valley for Cagayan Economic Zone Authority (CEZA),
Re-development Master Plan of Mambukal Resort for the
Province of Negros Occidental, Abatan River Ecotourism
Master Plan for the Department of Tourism and PROCESS-Bohol.
Land-Use
Plans
On the other
hand, EGD Lopez participated in the land-use planning of the
Resettlement Physical Framework and Comprehensive
Land-Use Plan for selected lahar-affected municipalities in
Region III funded by the United Nation Development
Program (UNDP), Best-Land Use Plan of Misamis Oriental
Provincial Government Properties in Cagayan de Oro City
funded by USAID, Comprehensive Land-use Plans of the
Municipalities of Maribojoc, Guindulman and Loon in the
Province of Bohol, Pampanga River Delta Development
Project for the Department of Public Works, and
Comprehensive Land-Use Plans for some Lahar-stricken
municipalities in Pampanga and Zambales commissioned by
the Local Government Units.
Industrial
Estate & Export Processing Zone Studies
Likewise, EGD
Lopez was actively involved in the preparation of many
industrial estate studies like the Framework Plan for
three industrial estates in the Province of Bohol funded
by USAID, Comprehensive Review of Industrial Estates and
Export Processing Zones in the Philippines sponsored by
Export Processing Zone Authority (EPZA) and the World Bank
(WB), Full Development Study of the Export Processing
Zones in Cebu, Baguio, and Mactan for the 16th OECF
Loan, and Pre-Investment Studies of Proposed Industrial
Estates in Zambales, Bulacan and Nueva Ecija for the
Ministry of Human Settlement.
Metro
Manila Plans
EGD Lopez was
also heavily involved in several strategic plans and studies
for Metro Manila such as the Metro Manila Capital
Investment Folio and update of the Regional
Development Framework Plan of Metro Manila for the Metro
Manila Commission, MMetro Plan - Metro Manila Land-use
and Transport Study conducted for the Metro Manila
Commission and the World Bank, and the Metro Manila
Integrated Urban Drainage and Flood Control Master Plan
for the Department of Public Works.
