The same design philosophy that guided EGD Lopez and
Partners in the planning of tourism projects, leisure and
resort communities also dictates its design of residential
estates and subdivisions. The partnership does not only aim
to maximize the value and use of the real estate and enhance
the aesthetics of the asset but also ensure the barest
minimum engineering intervention on the physical
characteristics of the land and mitigate the ecological
consequences of the development on the flora and fauna
within the project site.
This high
respect for nature and the environment is manifested in the
common features of the subdivision plans designed by EGD
Lopez and Partners, such as the presence of parks,
tree-lined road network, open spaces, promenades, and full
exploitation of the natural beauty of the site and its
surroundings. |

 The vision of
Aboitizland is to
celebrate well-being with Zen as the development theme.
Kishanta is borne out of the Japanese and Sanskrit terms for
positive energy and family. With this core inspiration, EGD
Lopez and Partners, master planned a residential community
that would bring Zen to everyday living in a 30-hectare
residential subdivision The centerpiece of the development
is a zen-inspired and family-oriented clubhouse, also
designed by EGD Lopez and Partners, with a view deck and an
infinity pool, which offers a panoramic view of the Cebu
mountain and its coastline and Bohol Strait. To add serenity
and tranquility to the place as a perfect retreat from the
hustle and bustle of Cebu metropolis, lush open parks,
walkways and jogging paths, playgrounds, picnic and
meditation areas were strategically placed. The Zen theme is
reflected in Kishanta's clubhouse, parks, guardhouse, and
gazebos.

Pacific Heights,
Talisay, Cebu
Master plan for
a nature-themed integrated first-class residential resort on
scenic hills, owned by First Cebu Pacific Land Company,
overlooking the beach-lined town of Talisay, Cebu. The
design provided for scenic community parkway and spine road,
community center, country club and spa, recreational and
natural open spaces. The 150-hectare planned project offers
five themed enclaves: The Ridge, an ocean view estate
nestled on a chain of hills with recreational facilities;
The Crest, the estate closest to the Village Center with a
commanding view of the ocean; The Pointe, nestled right in
the heart of Pacific Heights; The Palisades, an ocean view
estate offering breathtaking vistas of greens; and The
Summit, the highest point of Pacific Heights. Planning of
the project by EGD Lopez and Partners was in collaboration
with RTKL International for LandCo. |
